 Con on the Cob is looking for companies and individuals to help sponsor our events through donations of funds, supplies, games, and food. in exchange for your generous donations we offer ad space in our onsite book, space in the con to display promotional materials, events with your name on them (Brought to you by..., etc.), our undying gratitude, links on this website, and the laughter and joy of hundreds of thankful geeks. We offer five levels of sponsorship to meet the budgets and desires of any potential sponsor (see the right column). Levels stack upon one another, so a gold level sponsor receives the benefits of a silver level sponsor and so on. Donations of products are welcome in lieu of funds. However, for purposes of Sponsorship Level determination and Reward the following conversion applies: Two dollars of product (retail value) equals one dollar of money. For example, a $40 boardgame would be valued as a $20 donation. Monetary donations equal their cash value ($1=$1). We at Con on the Cob are extrememly grateful for any donations and sponsorships. In return, we present a variety of promotional opportunities for our sponsors and friends, such as:  The Con on the Cob onsite book is distributed free to every Con on the Cob attendee and is also available for free download on this website. It contains all sorts of useful and entertaining items, including a complete schedule of all events and games (at least those submitted prior to the printing of the book), information about our vendors and guests, games, short fiction, gaming material, and advertisements from our sponsors and friends. The onsite book is 8.5"x5.5" and is printed in full color. Ads should be submitted via email in 300dpi jpg format.  The CotC Exhibit Hall, Art Show, and various hallways and event
areas provide plenty of space for the display of posters and other
hanging ads. Any sponsor is free to hang ads throughout the con (except
in areas or events hosted by another sponsor).
 Several tables and gridwall panels throughout the convention space are reserved for the display of free promtional material from anybody who wants to put it there.  We will place a logo and weblink or banner ad for each of our sponsors on this page of this website. Gold and Platinum sponsors also get a weblink on the CotC homepage.  As each attendee at Con on the Cob picks up his or her registration badge he or she will also collect a bag of goodies, promotional flyers, and assorted gifts from our various sponsors and friends. Anyone is free to submit items for placement in the bags (you provide the material and we'll provide the bags and someone to stuff them). Bags will be roughly 9"x12". Please mail all swag bag fillers by October 1, 2010 to assure enough time to get the bags stocked and prepared. By hosting an event at Con on the Cob, such as a party, tournament, or contest your name will be front and center. Gold sponsors are the official sponsors or a particular event or special guest (i.e. Iron Artist presented by Overmountain Games; Larry Elmore appears courtesy of Mutha Oith Creations, etc...) and Platinum sponsors are the official sponsor of an entire programming track (i.e. The Iliana Hopp Artitorium; The Overly-Complicated Games Gaming Room), etc... |
