Con on the Cob could not exist without the generous gifts and donations of our partners and sponsors. In exchange, we present a variety of promotional opportunities for our sponsors and friends, such as:

Onsite Book - The CotC Onsite Book is seen by hundreds of people during and after the convention. Our past onsite books have been downloaded thousands of times from the CotC website, a reflection of the word-of-mouth advewrtising that is being spread by Con on the Cob attendees.
     The CotC 2008 onsite book will be printed in FULL COLOR! and includes registration information, schedules and ads, in addition to entertaining supplemental materials like games, artwork, short fiction, and contests.

Posters and Banners - The CotC Exhibit Hall, Art Show, and various hallways and event areas provide plenty of space for the display of posters and other hanging ads. Any sponsor is free to hang ads throughout the con (except in areas or events hosted by another sponsor).

Swag Bags - Every attendee of Con on the Cob is given a bag of goodies and promotional material with his or her registration badge.

Flyer Tables - Several tables throughout the convention space are reserved for the display of free promotional material from anybody who wants to put it there.

The CotC Website - We will place a logo and weblink or banner ad for each of our sponsors on the Sponsors page of the official Con on the Cob website.

Sponsored Events - This is the best way to get your product, company, or club noticed. By hosting an event at Con on the Cob, such as a party, tournament, contest, or special activity your name will be front and center.

We offer five levels of sponsorship to meet the budget of any potential sponsor. Sponsors at all levels may place ad inserts or freebies in our swag bags, hang or distribute promotional material at the con and earn a weblink on the CotC website. Sponsors are responsible for their own print-ready ads (300 dpi jpeg, full color) and logos. Please email finished ads to Andy.
     Donations of products are welcome in lieu of funds. For purposes of Sponsorship Level determination the following conversion applies: Two dollars of product (retail value) equals one dollar of cash. For example, a $40 boardgame counts as a $20 donation.

In addition to the benefits described above, copper sponsors may place a logo or business card in the onsite book.

Silver sponsors gain a 1/4 page ad in our onsite book (2.75”x4.25”).

The ad size for an electrum sponsor is a half page (5.5”x4.25” or 2.75”x8.5”).

Gold sponsors get a FULL PAGE ad in the onsite book (5.5”x8.5”).
