Con on the Cob is all about the learning. With a whole host of demos, seminars, and workshops to choose from we have all your educational needs covered.
If you have an idea for a seminar or demo of any sort please email Andy and we'll set it up. It can be about just about anything that has to do with the things that happen at Con on the Cob: promoting your game or company, magic demos, balloon animals, how to be a better game master, world building, science, gamer psychology, gender roles in gaming, creating comedy music, web pages, art demos, comics, blogs, whatever... It's all good.

Games are fun, so surely creating material for them must be, too, right? This one-hour seminar deals with common questions and
misperceptions of breaking into the role-playing game industry. Take home tips for getting the right kind of attention and finding a
good fit for you. Questions welcome.

Uh...How Do You Game with Girls?

Host: Vickey A. Beaver, Savage Mojo line developer, Savage Insider assistant editor
With less focus on gender in many areas of our lives and the advent of online RPGs, more women of various ages are open to gaming. If you're unsure how to make a mixed table work, or if you're trying to welcome the opposite sex to your campaign, this one-hour seminar offers a candid question and answer session with a "girl gamer" to help you out.

Some lucky Con on the Cob attendees will get the opportunity to "scare the straights" when Rod from Zombified Studios covers
them in horrific injuries and stage blood!  We dare anyone in makeup to go to the fast food restaurant down the road and ask for a band aid, just take a friend to catch it on a camera phone!  We make no guarantees that the horrific goo we slather all over you will come out in the wash.  Con on the Cob, Western New York Filmworks and Zombified Studios will not buy you new pants.
Time and Day to be Announced
